How Ratings Work

Ratings combine ingredient identity, regulatory context, allergen information, and evidence strength. Titanium dioxide, potassium bromate, azodicarbonamide, olestra, Citrus Red No. 2, and FD&C Green No. 3 may be permitted by FDA for specified uses but not authorized in the European Union and/or subject to scientific hazard, exposure, or allergen concerns from other recognized sources. A rating is educational and does not measure the amount consumed or predict an individual health outcome.
